Ingredients for 🌽🍕🫑Vegetables Cheese Bread🫑🍕🌽
- For the dough
- 250 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 1 & 1/2 tsp yeast
- 1 tblsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) lukwarm milk
- 3 tblsp softened, butter
- For the Filling
- Bell peppers red, green chopped
- Small Red onion chopped
- 1/2 cup kernel sweetcorn
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- Salt, pepper to taste
- For the Topping
- Some grated cheese
Cooking Instructions for making 🌽🍕🫑Vegetables Cheese Bread🫑🍕🌽
In a mixing bowl, active dry yeast + sugar + warm milk. Mix and cover for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
Add the rest of the Dough ingredients and mix well. We can use a strong spoon/by hand/a mixer.
Put on the surface and knead the dough for 5 – 6 minutes. Cover for 60 – 90 minutes in a warm place.
Divide the dough into 6 equal sizes and shape it into a ball.
#For_the_Filling:
In another bowl make the filling. Chopped vegetables, salt, pepper, garlic powder, follow your taste. Add 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and mix roughly.
Flatten each dough into a round shaped.
Roll up the dough at the edges inward to shape the dough same like a pizza.
Put on a baking tray or we can shape it directly on the tray.
Put the vegetables mixture into each dough. Add shredded cheese on top.
Sprinkle with dried parsley if you like. Cover for 30 minutes.
Apply the egg yolk to the dough.
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 200°C (400°F) preheated oven. An oven may vary.
Serve warm Enjoy!
