Ingredients for Beef-lamb burger with caramelized onions,cheese, tomato&cucumber
- 8 Burger buns (festive premium)
- 750 g beef & lamb mince
- 8 slices Mozzarella cheese
- 3 onions
- bunch Dhania
- 3 firm tomatoes
- 1 cucumber
- Butter and cooking oil
- Salt and pepper
- Rosemary 1 tablespoon (preferably fresh)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons Ketchup, mayo & mustard

Dice 1 onion rosemaryand the dhania into very small pieces. Mince garlic
Add it to the mince, add rosemary, minced garlic, salt and pepper and mix but don’t overdo it
Make 8 golfball sizes, flatten and put on a tray. Cover with foil and place in fridge
Cut the 2 remaining onions into long straight pieces and steam for 15 minutes
Next, using cast iron pan, fry the onions with butter/cooking oil for 20 minutes on medium low heat. Reduce heat if they start to burn
Cut the onion and cucumber into thin round shapes
Mix the Ketchup, mayo and mustard and set aside
To fry the burgers, heat the pan till smoke comes out, add oil then fry one side. Once you flip the burger, top with cheese, cover and let it cook till the cheese melts
Repeat process for all the burgers
Now toast the burger buns on both sides then apply the Ketchup, mayo mustard mixture on the buns
Layer the ingredients starting with the cucumber, tomato, burger and top woth caramelized onions
