- 1/4 cup chili or sloppy joe meat (store-bought or homemade

- For Homemade Chili or Sloppy Joe Sauce:
- 1 lb ground beef (or your choice of protein)
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Cooking Instructions for making Chili Burger
Prepare the Meat Sauce:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks.
Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, chili powder, cumin, and paprika. Stir to combine.
Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the Burger Patty:
Season the beef patty with salt and pepper.
Heat a pan or grill over medium heat, and cook the patty until it reaches your desired level of doneness (about 4 minutes per side for medium).
Assemble the Burger:
Toast the hamburger bun lightly, if desired.
Place the cooked beef patty on the bottom half of the bun.
Spoon a generous amount of chili or sloppy joe meat on top of the patty.
Optional: Drizzle with a little barbecue sauce and garnish with fresh parsley for extra flavor!
Serve:
