Ingredients for Baked pork chops with leek salsa 🐖🌿🍅🥕
- 4 pork chops
- 2-3 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar 🍎
- 11/2 tbsp coriander paste
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 🫚🧄
- 1 tbsp green chillies paste
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- Salt to taste 🧂
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder 🌶️
- 1/2 tsp coriander cumin powder
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp hot red chilli powder 🌶️ – optional
- For leek salsa:
- 1 tbsp ginger juliennes 🫚
- 1/2 leek bulb chopped
- 1/2 tsp white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp chopped coriander leaves 🌿
- 1 green chilli chopped
- 1 red chilli chopped 🌶️
- Salt to taste 🧂
- For garnish:
- 1 small tomato slices 🍅
- 1/2 carrots rings 🥕
- Few mint leaves 🌱
Cooking Instructions for making Baked pork chops with leek salsa 🐖🌿🍅🥕
Marinate the pork chops 🐖, in small bowl 🥣, add curry powder, salt, apple cider vinegar 🍎, coriander paste, ginger garlic paste 🫚🧄, green chillies paste, black pepper powder, coriander cumin powder, hot red chilli powder 🌶️ and oil mix all together, apply on pork chops 🐖, cover and keep aside for 30 mins.
Preheat oven at 180°c, line with aluminum foil, grease it, arrange marinated pork chops 🐖 with masala and bake for 15 mins, in between add few drops of oil, (don’t burn the masala), serve hot with leek salsa.
For leek salsa: chopped the leek bulb and wash well, keep aside, cut ginger juliennes 🫚 and wash them as well, keep aside. In a bowl 🥣 add leek bulb chopped, ginger juliennes 🫚, green & red chillies 🌶️ chopped, coriander leaves 🌿, mix gently, pour white vinegar & salt mix and serve with baked pork chops 🐖 and toasted buns or bread slices🍞. Enjoy your Easter dinner.
Note: the left over masala, add on top of pork chops 🐖.
