Cooking Instructions for making Vegetable soup
Wash beef, dried fish and stock fish. Put in a clean pot, season with salt and buillion cubes. Add water and sliced onions. Allow to cook.
Wash and cut your cow skin in small pieces. Add to the pot of cooking proteins. Add your locust beans. Cover and allow to cook for about 20 to 25 mins till all proteins are tender and well cooked.
Put another pot on the fire. Add your palm oil. Pour in your grinder pepper. Allow to fry. Add your water leaf and stir fry for about 5 mins. Add ugwu. Pour in your cooked proteins with the stock.
Note that water or stock should be very small.
Sprinkle your crayfish. Stir thoroughly. Taste and correct your seasoning. Cover tightly and allow to cook for about 10 mins.
Lower the flame and allow to simmer till liquid is almost absorbed.
Serve hot with rice or swallow.
