Ingredients for Vegetable Dhrungari Biryani
- 2 cups boiled left over rice
- 1 Potato
- 1/2 cup pigeon peas
- 1 pc. Brinjal
- 1/2 Carrot
- 1 Onion
- 2 pc Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1″ Cinnamon stick
- 1-2 pc Dry boria chilli
- 2-3 pc Cardamoms
- 2-3 pc Cloves
- 1 pc Tej patta
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Coriander/ cumin powder
- 1/2 cup birastaa
- 1 tbsp coriander
- 1 tbsp Mint
- 1 tbsp chilli garlic ginger paste
- 1/4 tsp Crushed black pepper
- 1 cup kneaded dough
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 cup Saffron milk
- 1 tbsp green garlic
Cooking Instructions for making Vegetable Dhrungari Biryani
Heat oil in a pan. Chopped onion and ginger chilli garlic paste saute add pigeon peas, chop potato, brinjal,carrot, saute add salt turmeric powder red chilli powder coriander and cumin powder saute properly and add 1/2 glass water and give 3-4 whistles,Open lid. Add chopped tomatoes garam masala and coriander and mix well.
Now Take Handi to make biryani from left over rice. Heat ghee add dy boria chilli and all khada masala boiled rice just stir. Spread in handi. Now make layer of vegetables, chopped mint coriander and pepper powder again put rice layer pour saffron milk and spread birasta mint leaves and green garlic.
Now put charcoal pour 1/2 tsp ghee and cover the lid seal with wheat kneaded dough. Keep for 4-5mins on slow flame.
Turn off flame, open the lid and remove char coal. Serve hot in a serving plate. Delicious biryani is ready to serve.
