Ingredients for #themchallengPilau, purple cabbage and kienyenji chicken
- 1 whole kienyenji chicken
- 1 piece garlic
- 3 seeds ginger
- 1 large onion
- 2 cups pilau masaala
- Cooking oil
- 1/2 piece Rea cabbage
- 1 cup peas
- 1 large Cucumber
- 1 hoho

Put chicken in the cooking pot with about three cups of water bring to boil add ginger and garlic let it simmer for about 45 minutes
You can drain the chicken add the onion let it bend well with onion add tomato one or two cook for 10 min
Add the other spice cucumber, hoho cook for other five minutes you can now add salt to taste
After adding all the spice now you add the supu you had drained when you boiled your chicken if not enough supu you can add a cup of oiled water
Cut the purple cabbage in small pieces put in cooking pot
Add the onion,, salt and cooking oill let it simmer for 3 minute
It ready to serve
Pilau rice about 2 cups add the pilau spice mine I had made a mixed one from Mombasa add in the cooking pot when the onion has browned
Add your Peas let it simmer fot 2 or 3 minutes
Add your rice since the two cup it ratio one to one for boiled water let it cooked for 20 minute under very low heat
It is ready to serve
