Ingredients for Chopped Tomatoes Gnocchi Sardines
- 500 g cold cooked boiled potatoes (not New Potatoes)
- 1 (One) Cup measurement of Plain Flour / 150g
- Half a tsp. Salt
- 1 (One) hen egg yolk
- Extra Plain Flour for dusting
- 400 g tin of chopped tomatoes
- 240 g/ 2 × 120g tin Sardines in Sunflower Oil
- Pinches Table Salt etc
Cooking Instructions for making Chopped Tomatoes Gnocchi Sardines
Weigh 453g (1 Pound) or 500g of cold cooked boiled potatoes on a pair of Scales and then place them in your Kenwood Food Mixer Bowl, add the hen egg yolk and then add the One Cup measurement of Plain Flour and then add the half a teaspoon of Salt. Attach the Kenwood Dough Hook and Kenwood guard and then blend on full speed until no lumps remain of the cold cooked boiled potatoes
Dust the Kitchen side with a generous amount of Plain Flour and then transfer the raw Gnocchi Dough too it – spread it out with floured Fingers and then sprinkle a generous amount of Plain Flour over the top and then make several thin sausage shapes and then cut into equal small segments and then allow too rest for at least 20 minutes
Boil cold tap water in a medium sized saucepan. Meanwhile add all the Chopped Tomatoes along with the tomato juice into the smallest of the Ninja non-stick Frying Pans etc and then bring too the boil on the hob stove. Add your raw Gnocchi segments too the boiling water and then when they rise too the top – then add them too the hot Chopped Tomatoes and then briefly heat them through for One minute and all the contents of the tin’s of Sardines as well
