Ingredients for Stir fried vegetable rice and pan grilled beef
- 1 cup basmati rice
- Shredded carrots
- Shredded green, red and yellow peppers
- Spices
- cubes Seasoning
- Onions and garlic
- Oil
- Beef stock
- Pan grilled beef
- Beef cut in chunks(I had leftover marinated beef)
- Potatoes diced
- Onions, green and red bell peppers, garlic
- Spices
- Oil
Cooking Instructions for making Stir fried vegetable rice and pan grilled beef
In a boiling pot of beef stock add washed rice and allow to cook for 10-15 minutes, while cooking the add in a little of salt and curry. After the rice is cooked set aside. (Do not over cook)
In a pan add in lil oil, onions, ginger and garlic paste and saute for 3minutes, then add in shredded carrots, and the bell peppers, add in seasoning cubes and spices and stir fry for atleast 5 minutes, then finally add in the rice in the veggies and give it a good mix, cover and allow to cook for 2 minutes and take it off the heat!
For the beef: in a pot, pour in 3 tbspns of oil then add in onions and saute, add in ginger and garlic paste, then add in the marinated beef and fry till its tender. I forgot to mention while the meat is almost done you add the diced potatoes, and the peppers and stir fry till everything is cooked.
Serve with the rice and Enjoy!!!
