Cooking Instructions for making Chicken 65 in Airfryer
1. Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice.
Add the chicken pieces and mix until they’re well coated.
Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for a richer flavor).
2. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Set your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and preheat for 3-5 minutes.
Air Fry the Chicken:
Place the marinated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Spray or brush lightly with oil.
Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until the chicken is golden and crispy. Adjust the cooking time based on the size of the pieces.
4. Tempering (Optional but Authentic!):
Heat 1 tsp oil in a small pan. Add fresh curry leaves and green chilies, and fry until aromatic.
Pour this over the chicken
5. Serve:
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and a few more curry leaves.
Serve hot with lemon wedges and enjoy!
Pro Tips:
Adjust chili powder to your taste.
For extra tenderness, marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator.
