Ingredients for Baked Vegetables
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1.5 cup milk (take more if required)
- 1/2 cup cauliflower(cut in small size)
- 1/2 cup Carrot cubes
- 1/4 cup Peas
- 8-10 Beans (cut in small size)
- 1 Potatoes (cut in cubes)
- 1/2 cup Cabbage(shredded)
- to taste Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper or to taste
- 3 tbsp salted butter
Cooking Instructions for making Baked Vegetables
Cut all the vegetables in small size.
Boil veggies for two whistles in a pressure cooker.
For white sauce-
Put three spoons salted butter
Add two tablespoons maida and roast on low flame
Keep stirring to avoid making lumps
Switch off the flame & add cold milk 3/4 cup and stir nicely(important step).
Now again put on the flame and mix nicely breaking lumps if any making into a smooth paste.Add salt and black pepper.
At this stage can add more milk acc to consistency of white sauce needed.
Once it starts boiling can add boiled vegetables without the stock. Vegetable stock can be used for soup etc.
When all the vegetables get nicely coated in white sauce, can transfer it into a microwave safe bowl and garnish with some cheese (mozzarella or cheese slice)
Keep in microwave for ten min till the cheese gives u brown coating and veggies get done.
Can bake without cheese too
Serve with garlic bread or plain toast.
