Cooking Instructions for making Bolognese with Boiled Vegetable Flavor
Add the ground meat to a cold pot and heat on low while breaking up the meat. Use a spatula to scrape up any meat that gets stuck to the bottom.
Add minced vegetables, garlic, and olive oil to a pan and cook well on low heat.
While the vegetables are cooking add the red wine to the pot in Step 1 and boil it for 10 minutes.
Once the wine has been boiled into the meat, add the vegetables, canned tomatoes, salt, and laurel and boil for 30 minutes. Add water if the moisture levels become too low.
And that’s it for the sauce! These next steps will show you how to mix it with pasta.
Place about a bowl’s worth of sauce for one person in a pan. Add butter and warm on low heat.
Add a bit of the pasta water to the sauce, then add the boiled pasta, parmesan cheese, and black pepper and cook on high heat. Mix the pasta with the sauce and you’re done.
Top with Parmesan cheese and parsley and transfer to a plate to enjoy.
