Ingredients for Boneless Pork Leg Joint for Crackling
- 1 boneless Pork Leg Joint
- 20 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
Cooking Instructions for making Boneless Pork Leg Joint for Crackling
Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 9.
Remove sealed Packaging from the boneless Pork Leg Joint and then run the raw Joint of Pork under the Cold water tap and then shake off excess water and then place the Vegetable Oil in the Roasting Tin and then hold the Joint of Meat too cover the raw meat all over with Vegetable Oil and with Pork Fat on top – roast for 30 minutes
Turn the oven temperature down to Gas Mark 6. Turn the Crackling side down to the bottom of the Roasting Tin and then place Kitchen Foil over the top and then roast for 30 minutes and then take the Kitchen Foil off and turn the Pork Joint over – turn the oven down to Gas Mark 5 and then roast without the Kitchen Foil on – for a further 30 minutes
Remove from the oven and then turn the oven up to Gas Mark 9 and then use scissors too remove the string and then remove the Crackling from the cooked Pork meat and then place the Crackling in the Roasting Tin and then add Salt over the top of the Crackling and then crisp the Crackling in the very hot oven for 15 minutes
Rest the cooked Pork Joint on a Dinner Plate with Kitchen Foil over the top for 15 minutes. Carve some of the cooked Pork Joint and add 2 heaped Dessert Spoons of Shop bought Apple Sauce and then add the cooked crispy Crackling to the Dinner Plate. Enjoy
