Ingredients for Cabbage & fried plantain
- 1 Green cabbage chopped
- 1-2 cup Vegetable oil
- 500 g Beef
- 1 – 2 Riped plantain
- Soaked cow skin
- Soaked and blended groundnut with green onions
- Piment
- Seasoning
- Required spice of choice (white pepper, general spice)
- Sardine fish or desired fish of your choice
Cooking Instructions for making Cabbage & fried plantain
To prepare the fish, cut into pieces of your desired choice. Rub with salt. Now put a sauce pan to head, add oil and fry fish to desired color
Place the soaked cow skin and beef in a pot, add in salt and let it boil for 15-20 mins.Now place the chopped green cabbage into hot boiling water and let it sit for about 15-20 mins. Rinse and put in a sieve pan.
Add in your grinded or blended groundnut into the pot containing your beef and cow skin, add in your seasoning or spice and boil for 15-20 mins. Make sure to cover with a tight fitting lid
Now add the sieved green cabbage into the boiled groundnut with your grinded pepper and boil for 5-10 mins.
Now stir. Again add in your seasoning(optional) to desired taste and pour in 1-2 cups of vegetable oil.
To prepare the plantain, pre heat oil in a large, deep pan over medium high heat.
Peel the plantains and cut them in half. Slice the halves lengthwise into thin pieces.
Fry the pieces until browned and tender. Drain excess oil on paper towels or a sieve.
Now place into your desired bowl or pan of choice.
Its ready to serve!
