Blanch Broccoli. Immerse the vegetables in boiling water for 2 minutes, remove the florets from hot water, then drain the water and place in ice cold water to stop the cooking, then remove from ice water, place them in a bowl. This technique colors the vegetables. Nutrients are preserved and vegetables are crisp and retain their natural color
Method1: Transfer the blanched broccoli to a microwave safe bowl. Add salt, spice mix, half the pepper powder and Toss. Add grated cheese. (I grated parmesan cheese on a grater) microwave until the cheese melted (2-3 minutes).

Method 3: Cheese sauce: Take enough water in a pot and bring it to a boil on high heat. Instead of microwaving, place bowl of cheese mixture over boiling water. The cheese will melt in a few minutes. Guests can dip the broccoli florets in the cheese sauce and enjoy cheese coated broccoli
