Ingredients for Chipotle copycat at home
- 2 boxes Old El Paso Cilantro Lime Seasoned Rice
- 1 rotisserie chicken, or any cooked cubed chicken
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1-2 cooked steaks cubed up (optional)
- 1-2 small cans, 7.oz chipotle sauce
- 1 bag Corn Tortilla Chips
- Guacamole,
- Sour cream
- Corn salsa
- On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina Monterey Jack Queso, (cheese dip)
- Flour Tortillas
- 1 bag shredded lettuce
- Shredded Mexican cheese or cheese of choice
Cooking Instructions for making Chipotle copycat at home
Debone the rotisserie chicken, use half of it and marinate the chicken in the can of chipotle. (save rest of the chicken for some else)
Make sure chicken has been heated up before setting up
Marinate the cubed steaks in chipotle sauce before cooking cooked steak to
desire.
Cook rice to package directions
Heat up the beans in separate bowls in the microwave until heated through.
Set everything Up buffet style with everything in their own bowls / platters / containers
Order to place everything rice, meats, toppings- beans, Guacamole, Pico De Gallo, corn salsa, lettuce, sour cream shredded cheese.
The tortilla chips and queso cheese is the side item. To go along with your chipotle bowl. Should be placed at end of table together along with any warmed up flour tortillas.
