Ingredients for Deep Fried Oyster Mushrooms
- A. PREMIX
- 1 C plain flour
- 1/3 C corn flour
- 1 generous pinch pepper powder
- 1 generous pinch of seasoning powder or use salt
- B. OYSTER MUSHROOM (2 PKT)
- C. WATER IN SPRAY BOTTLE

- 1 . Ingredients & seasonings can be adjusted depending on the how much mushrooms you have
- 2 . This recipe is suitable for Oyster mushroom. See pic
- 3 . Our packed oyster mushrooms are clean and we prep them right away instead of washing them in water. Washing will cause them to be too wet and will absorb oil when fried
Cooking Instructions for making Deep Fried Oyster Mushrooms
Gather all ingredients.
1. Prepare ingredients for dry premix in a separate bowl. Combine and whisk all dry ingredients in A to mix them evenly. Pic below.
2. Prepare water in a spray bottle. See pic below
3. Tear or shread mushrooms into strips. See pic below.
4. Prepare one empty container with lid.
Once the preparation is done (see the 1st pic below), heat enough oil in a pan or a wok for deep frying. Work on mushrooms in small batches. Transfer a handful of mushrooms into to an empty container with a lid.
Spray mushrooms with water. Add a tbsp of premix flour.
Put the lid back on. Shake well. Deep fried until golden. Transfer fried mushrooms to a cooling rack or colander lined with thick kitchen towel to absorb excess oil. Repeat the whole process.
Serve fried mushrooms with your preferred sauce.
