Ingredients for Fish vegetable biryani ππ₯π§ π ππ§and yoghurt kachumbari π₯
- Marinade: 2-3 fish pieces π
- 11/2 tbsp dark soya sauce
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp fennel seeds powder
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chillies powderπΆοΈ
- 1/2 tsp coriander & cumin powder
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil π
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- For making gravy:
- 3-4 tbsp sunflower oil π
- 3-4 chopped onions π§
- 2 tbsp ginger- garlic paste π§
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp kashmiri red chillies powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 big chopped π tomato
- 4 tbsp plain yoghurt
- 1 tbsp biryani masala
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp green chillies paste
- 1 tsp coriander & cumin powder
- Vegetable added:
- 1 big carrot juliennes
- 4-5 french beans
- 4 medium size potatoes cut into halves
- 1/2 cup pigeon peas/ peas
- For yoghurt kachumbari salad:
- 2 medium size onions chopped π§
- 1 chopped tomato π
- 2 green chillies chopped (remove seeds out)
- 1/2 cucumber chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- Salt to tasteπ§
- 3 tbsp plain yoghurt
- For π rice:
- 21/2 cup basmati rice π
- 4 cup water
- For garnish: fried onions, ginger Juliannes
- 1 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp mint leaves
- 1 chopped green chillies
Cooking Instructions for making Fish vegetable biryani ππ₯π§ π ππ§and yoghurt kachumbari π₯
Marinade: in bowl mix soy sauce, fennel powder, white vinegar, black pepper powder, salt, πΆοΈkashmiri red chillies powder, turmeric powder, π sunflower oil, coriander & cumin powder mix well, rub on theπ fish pieces, marinade for 1 hr, cut vegetables keep aside, soak rice
After 1 hr shallow fry the π fish pieces, on slow flame, until golden brown, keep aside.
Heat π sunflower oil, add cumin seeds, chopped onions π§ just saute it.
Add ginger-garlic paste, cook for 1 min, add π chopped Tomato, πΆοΈkashmiri red chillies powder, coriander & cumin powder,mix cook till oil comes out.
Add green chillies paste, biryani masala, soy sauce, chopped coriander leaves, mix, cook for 1 min, add yoghurt and salt mix.
Add chopped π₯π₯vegetables,pigeon peas and mix cook for 2 mins, add π rice and mix well, let boil, cook until π rice is soft and tender.
For kachumbari π₯ salad: mix all the ingredients in a bowl,keep aside, in the time of serving add yoghurt, black pepper powder, π§salt and mix.
Remove rice in serving dish, arrange π fish fried pieces, garnish with π§ fried onions, ginger Juliannes, chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, chopped green chillies and serve with kachumbari π₯ salad.
