Cooking Instructions for making Flaky spring onion pancakes
Get a big bowl and mix the plain flour, yoghurt and water.
Add in the vegetable oil and keep kneading to form a dough. Dust with extra plain flour if the dough is too sticky.
Divide the dough into 4 small doughs and place them on an oiled plate. Brush some vegetable on those small doughs. Cover them by clinging film and rest for 30 minutes.
Wash and chop the spring onion into small pieces. (Make sure wash off the dust inside the tubes of the spring onion.) Season the spring onion with salt, white pepper and sesame oil.
Take one small dough and roll it into a rectangular shape. Sprinkle some spring onion on the dough and roll the dough up like a rope.
Roll the rope dough like a snail and fold the end bit in and place it under the whole dough.
Heat a frying pan with 3-4 Tablespoons of oil in it. Put the pancake doughs into the pan and panfry them with a gentle heat until both sides turn into golden and flaky.
Serve with sweet chilli sauce or soy sauce. Enjoy!!
