Cooking Instructions for making Garlic Butter Shrimp
Prepare the shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika (if using).
Heat the pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Cook the shrimp: Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for about 2 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.
Make the garlic butter sauce: In the same pan, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Combine everything: Return the cooked shrimp to the pan, pour in the lemon juice, and stir well to coat the shrimp in the garlic butter sauce. Let it cook for another 1-2 minutes.
Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy with rice, pasta, or crusty bread!
