Ingredients for Homemade pasta with cherry tomatoes sauce
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup semolina flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 1 punnet cherry tomatoes
- 1 tsp basil dried/fresh
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 cup beef stock
- 1 medium onion
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 royco cube (optional)
Cooking Instructions for making Homemade pasta with cherry tomatoes sauce
For the pasta: on a flat surface put the flours together and salt create a well and put the egg in the middle. Using a folk whisk the egg. Bring the flour together then start to work with your hands to form a dough. You can add some water if you find the dough a bit dry not too much though just a tablespoon. Cover in cling film and let it rest for about 30 mins. Roll out your dough thinly. Using semolina flour fold and cut it lengthwise.
For the sauce: put your oil in the pan on medium heat, add your diced onion and cook until translucent, add the crushed garlic cook till fragrant. Add your cherry tomatoes and allow to cook down for 5 to 10 mins. Add the herbs then the beef stock. Add the royco cube.Cook for a further 10 mins
Cook your pasta. Drain it and add it to your sauce. Using a tong mix the pasta with the sauce ensuring that they are fully coated with the sauce.
Then serve. Enjoy
