Ingredients for Meat stuffed alkhubus with potatoe vegetable shorba
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbspn yeast
- 1 tspn salt
- 2 tbspn oil
- Seasoned cooked minced meat
- For the shorba(soup)
- 1 onion bulb(chopped)
- blended pepper mix(scotch bonnet,shambo,tomatoes)
- 1/4 cup Green peas
- 1 big Green pepper
- 1/4 cup green beans
- 3 medium sized Sliced carrot
- 2 medium sized cooked potatoes
- Sliced beef meat
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 tbspn cornflour
- 1 tbspn Ginger/garlic paste
- Seasonings of choice
- Spices of choice
Cooking Instructions for making Meat stuffed alkhubus with potatoe vegetable shorba
Here are your ingredients
Mix your flour with the dry ingredients,gradually add warm water to form a soft dough
Add in your oil and knead well,cover and allow it to rise for 1hrs
In the mean time prepare ur meat stuffing,after it rise divide dough into 4
And do as shown here(u need to apply oil in your hands well)
Sprinkle sesame seed and black seed,and steam it for 30mins
After steaming brush with oil,and transfer into a foodwarmer and get ready to prepare the soup
Start by adding your spice(black pepper,cumin,and bay leaf)ibto a hot oil,add onions followed by your shredded beef,stir fry for 3 mins
And add ginger/garlic paste,stir fry till onion start to become golden brown,and ads your pepper mix
Stir fry for 5mins and add your green beans and peas,followed by potatoes
Stir fry it for a max of 5 mins again,then add the remaining spice,and stir,then add good amount of water
Cover and let ir simmer for 7-8mins,then add seasoning to taste and add your carrot
Dilute the cornflour with water,and add your green pepper,stir and close with a lid for 3 mins,turn off heat and serve
It can goes with rice,or any bread of choice
