Ingredients for Roast Chicken n’ Vegetables with Mushroom gravy
- 1 whole Chicken
- 2 pcs Potatoes
- 1 pcs Big Sweet Potato
- 6 pcs Small Carrots
- 2 small Onion
- 1 stalk Leek
- 1 1/2 cup Of butter
- For filling inside chicken:
- 1 Small onion
- 30 gr mushrooms
- 2 pcs white bread
- 1 tbsp Mix Herbs
- 1-2 tbsp kecap manis
- Pinch salt and black pepper
- For gravy :
- 1 pcs shallot
- 50 gr White Wood Mushroom
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Warcester sauce
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 3/4 cup Chicken stock
- Pinch salt and black pepper
Cooking Instructions for making Roast Chicken n’ Vegetables with Mushroom gravy
Heat fan oven 160°C and Prepare the vegetables into cut
Chop onion, mushroom and bread for the filling, season well with mix herbs, kecap manis, pinch salt and black pepper.. adding 4/5 tbsp of water.. fill inside chicken until full stitch with toothpick..
Melt the butter.. Add all vegetables and chicken in the pot and basting all with the butter.. put in the oven for 1 hour and 20 minute.. basting with butter after 30 minutes in the oven
For the gravy.. Heat the butter in the pan fry chop shallot until soft adding mushroom and cook for few minute.. add flour and stir, make sure not burn.. season well and adding chicken stock.. cook until reduce and thick
Take all of the vegetables and put chicken on the turn off oven for 10 minutes while make gravy..
