- Ingredients for Cookies
- 500 grms plain Flour
- 400 grms unsalted butter
- Pinch salt
- 50 grams icing sugar
- 1 tbsp Custard Powder
- Icing preps Ingredients
- 500 grms icing sugar
- 4 tbsp Liquid milk equal to 60 ml
- Drops color. Make sure it is pro- gel
Cooking Instructions for making Sweet Sprinkles Treats Yummy Napolitaines by Chef Sweetie
Mix all cookies ingredients.Mix well until well combine and add in flour. Mix well until a dough is formed.
After the dough is formed, let it sit in the fridge one whole day or overnight for the dough to firm up….as butter melt in contact of hand.
Then roll into 1 inch diameter and cut your required shapes and cook in a preheated 180° oven for 7 to 10 mins not more than that.
Then remove straight away from the oven and let cool completely on a cooling rack.
You can then jam and set aside
Preparation of the icing :
Mix the icing sugar with the liquid milk..I use only milk and no usage of water..
Add water to boil in a saucepan…add the icing mixture bowl on the saucepan… bainmarie then stir the icing.
You will notice the consistency will be turning runny then pour straight away on your cookies.. then decorate as per your choice.
