Ingredients for Vegetable Gima
- 20 medium size of Arish potatoes
- 10 pieces Red pepper
- 10 pieces yellow pepper (optional)
- 10 pieces green pepper
- 1 1/2 cup green beans
- 5 large size of carrots
- 1 1/2 large size of chicken breast
- Vegetable oil as required
- Seasoning
- Spices
- 1 medium size of Onion
- Garlic (Optional)
Cooking Instructions for making Vegetable Gima
Wash the chicken breast and marinate it for about 30mins… Then cook it until it’s soft… Use a finger spoon and a knife to shred the chicken…
Peel the Arish potatoes, wash them and cook it until it’s cooked (Not over cooked)… Peel the carrots as well and wash them… Cook them as that of the potatoes… Cook the green beans as well…
Cut the Arish potatoes into cubes along with the carrots…
Slice the red pepper, yellow and green pepper
Pour some vegetable oil into a preheated pan, add some chopped onions, garlic (optional), until the onions are soft…
Add the shredded chicken inside the fried onions and let it cook for about 3 mins (don’t stop stiring).
Pour the chopped carrot along with the green beans into the mixture, keep stiring for 2 mins
Add the remaining ingredients all at once, add some seasonings and spices, add a little curry powder (optional)…. Keep stiring for 2 mins… And it’s done.
Can be served with bread, chicken pepper or all alone..🥰♥️
