Soak dal and Fenugreek, wash the rice keep aside

Heat the pressure cooker,add the whole garam masala after few mins add the onions,then garlic, then veg fry for few mins

Add the mint leaves, the turmeric powder,fennel and give it a good fry then add dal and rice

After few mins add water and salt,close the pressure cooker and let 5 whistle then off the heat and after cool down.

Open and add the coconut milk and let it boil,adjust the water and salt and serve hot,tasty kanji ready.
