Ingredients for Vegetables soup
- Spinach
- Ugwu
- leaf Water
- 3 ball of onions
- 1 wrap of stock fish
- 100 g crayfish
- 3 pieces dry fish
- 1 wrap of Parboiled meat
- 15 pieces red pepper
- Seasoning
- Salt
- Warm water
- Red oil
- 2 spoon tomato paste
- OPeye or locus beans
- Black pepper
- Cow skin (pomo)
- Garlic/Garlic puree
Cooking Instructions for making Vegetables soup
Get a pot put it on a stove and pour your red oil in it, pour your onions and grinded red pepper in it and stir
Pour your grinded cry fish, tomato paste and Garlic puree in the sauce and mix them together
Parboil your cow skin (pomo), stock fish, dry fish and your parboiled meat together and sieve the water in them after parboiling them, to drain the water in the and pour them in your sauce and mix
Then pound your opeye or locus beans together with a pieces of Garlic, pour it in your sauce with your seasoning, black pepper and salt
Cover it and allow it to cook for 2 minutes
Wash your spinach with hot water to give it a soft texture and eye catching look and put it in a sieve so that all the water in them will drain, pour your ugwu in the sauce and mix
After all the water in your spinach has dry off you pour it in the sauce and mix, after atleat 1 minute you pour your water leaf in the sauce
Cover it and allow it to cook for at least 3 minutes
Serve it with semovita, Amala or pounded yam any type of swallow you wish, your choice
